A new roofing design that is supposed to be safer than other roofing materials is proving controversial.
A few years ago, roofing company Home Depot installed a new system of roof truss to its store roofing.
It took about a year to make the installation, which required a full-time roofer to work at the company’s roofing plant.
The new roof trussed roofs were designed to be safe to work on and to reduce the risk of roofer injuries.
The new roof design is supposed, according to Home Depot’s website, to make it safer for roofer safety than other materials.
It includes a “double-layer of plastic and steel” and is “designed to be a more stable structure, while protecting against the impact of roofing products and roofing debris.”
The company says the system can withstand the impact and “the potential impact from an automobile, a plane, or other vehicle.”
But critics are questioning whether the new roof is as safe as advertised, and if it is safe at all.
“If they had made that claim, they would have said, ‘This is safe,'” said Bill Reiter, who owns the company that made the roof, Reiter and Associates.
“But they didn’t make it.”
Reiter said the new system is made of “an aluminum alloy,” which is used in other roof systems.
It has been in use at a number of other companies, and has also been tested at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
The company’s website says the new steel roof is more resistant to wind than previous steel designs, but that it has been “moved to an aluminum alloy alloy.”
In the video, Reiser claims that the new material is “very safe” and that it is “proven” to be “safe for roofing.”
In fact, the National Weather Service has said it is very likely that it would not be safe for a roofer in a crash, since there are “no inherent risks to the roof.”
“I’ve heard people say it’s unsafe,” said Reiter.
“I’ve seen people say that about the new product.”
Reiser said he and his colleagues are working to test the new roofs and to find out whether the safety claims are true.
“We want to see how it goes,” said Ritter.
“We’re still working on it.”NIST said it was investigating the safety of the new design.
In a statement to ABC News, NGA said, “NGA is committed to conducting robust, thorough, and objective studies of the safety and performance of all roofing-related technologies.”
“Safety is our top priority,” it said.
“As a result, we have taken swift action to initiate appropriate investigations and conduct a thorough review of the product.
This review is ongoing and will determine whether the product meets or exceeds the NGA requirements for roof systems.”
Reider, the roofing contractor, said that while the new aluminum roof was “safe,” the new technology is “still not good enough” to meet the NEMA’s minimum standards for roof protection.
“It’s a pretty poor product,” said Rider.
Reiter says that he is concerned that the safety claim has not been tested for any potential impact or injuries.
“I think it’s going to be dangerous to install the roof,” he said.
Reiser has not seen any data that would indicate if the new systems are safe to use in a car crash.
“In the end, if the product has no significant impact on the roof structure, then they’re safe to install,” said David J. Pritchard, who is the NGSN’s roof and roof trams expert.
Pritchard said he is not concerned about roofing roofing and the roof truses being used for crash protection.
He said, however, that the current technology is not suitable for roofs, and it’s unlikely to be effective in any serious crash.
Prischard said that although there have been studies of roof systems that have been tested in cars, they have not been designed to protect people in those crashes.
“When it comes to roofing or roofing trussing, we haven’t been able to show that they actually work,” he explained.
“So it’s difficult to compare the products to other roof products.”
Reisner and others say the safety information provided by Home Depot is misleading.
“The information on the site says that the product is safe to drive on,” said Pritchard.
“And then they’ve tested it and it doesn’t work.”
Rider said that he does not understand why Home Depot has not tested its new roof system for impact.
“They have this product, but the fact that it’s not actually designed to actually protect people is a huge problem,” he added.
