Coyotes face roof nest threat at home arena

Coyotes defenseman Kevin Bieksa was among the team’s guests at a home game Friday night, where he was surrounded by a plastic roof.

The roof nest was visible in the upper bowl.

The roof nest is a major concern for many fans in Arizona, as the roof is often the first thing a fan sees when visiting a hockey arena.

It’s a hazard to anyone on the roof, whether they’re standing in the middle of the rink or on the other side of the glass.

There were no reports of anyone being injured.

The Coyotes announced the nest was removed after two weeks in January, after fans complained about it.
